Pacific Waves Manly is a big big building near the beach where people live and swim and do stuff. The building is sooo big it’s like a giant Lego tower but for grown-ups who pay money. Inside the building there are lots and lots of homes, like 124 homes, which is more than I can count because I stop counting after ten. People live there and sleep and eat cereal and maybe watch TV all day, I dunno.
The building also has a swimming pool that looks like a big bathtub for giants. People go splash splash and pretend they’re dolphins. There is also a gym place where grown-ups go and lift heavy things for no reason. Maybe they like being tired, I guess.
Because the building is near the beach, they made a special room for surfers to change clothes because they get all sandy and wet and salty like french fries. So they go in the surfer room and go “shake shake” and clean themselves so they don’t make the building dirty.
The building has cameras that watch everything like robot eyes, and doors that you can’t open unless you have a magic beep-beep card. If something breaks, like the lights go out or the elevator acts silly, there is a building boss person who fixes things so everyone doesn’t freak out.
This building is like a tiny holiday place where you don’t have to leave. You can swim, lift things, live inside, and be close to the beach so you can run there and get sandy again and again.
So Pacific Waves is basically a giant house with fun stuff and beach stuff and grown-ups pretending they know what they’re doing.
