Duplex Building Design is like a big team of grown-ups who are really, REALLY good at drawing houses. But not like one house… they make TWO houses on ONE block! It’s like magic but with bricks and pencils. They go, “Hey you want two houses?” and POOF they draw it.

They make all kinds of housey-house things. Like duplexes (that’s two houses hugging), townhouses (houses holding hands), granny flats (tiny houses for granny so she doesn’t yell), and all sorts of other building thingies. They sit at computers and draw lines and boxes until it looks like a real house but on a screen. Very fancy. Very grown-up. I don’t understand but they do.

They also check your land to see if you can put houses on it. Like they look at the dirt and go, “Yep this dirt is good,” or “Nope this dirt is naughty.” Then they help fill out a million boring papers for the council people, who are like the bosses of buildings. They talk to them so you don’t have to cry doing paperwork.

They even make 3D pictures so you can see what the house will look like before it’s real. It’s like Minecraft but for adults who pay bills.

They also know all the rules like “don’t build a house that falls over” and “don’t forget the windows.” They make sure the house doesn’t make the Earth sad by checking energy and water things too.

So basically Duplex Building Design is like:
“We draw your house, fix your papers, talk to the boss people, make the house look cool, and make sure you don’t mess up.”

It’s like having smart grown-ups who do all the thinking so you can just say “Yay house!” and smile like a potato.
